MUU Bangkok Hotel

MUU is an excellent hotel, only 2 years old so pretty new and has amazing large rooms. Located in a cool neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and motivated and the breakfast is lovely. Nice gym too. Amazing bed. The bar is pretty high for Bangkok in terms of 5 star hotels but MUU has to be one of my favorites as it’s also well priced. I will gladly come back. Thanks MUU team.

Lovely boutique hotel in fabulous location. We stayed in a junior suite for 2 adults and 1 child, which worked well. The doorway between the bedroom and lounge is made of glass, so unfortunately can't block light if you're using as kids room like we were. But very spacious and comfortable. Great design but feels lacking in those 5* touches, for example only 2 towels in the bathroom although we were 3 guests, and ordering drinks by room service challenging (got the wrong wine twice). Location is amazing though with so many brilliant restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The pool area is lovely with fab views and waiter service.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. However, the advantages end there. We got upgraded to a suite room, which looked tired and old. It looked like the room had not been refreshed in years. There were no tea spoons or stirrers to stir the tea and coffee we made using the kettle. When we asked for spoons, the staff came to the room and gave us the spoons from their hand! The spoons were not even clean! Also the staff came across as rude. That is not acceptable from a 5-star establishment. The walls were paper thin. We could hear a couple in the neighbouring room getting intimate; we couldn’t get any sleep at all. Breakfast had lot of items, but the food was rather average. I have had better food in other 5-star establishments. I honestly don’t know how this hotel has the Small Luxury Hotel tag. It looks a little tired and service is not great. The staff looked affable with Caucasian guests who were more demanding which leads me to wonder whether there were something more than meets the eye.

Clean, comfortable and in a good location. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. The pool area is also a nice oasis from bustling Bangkok. There are so many places to chose to stay from this one is a good and well priced option. This was a vacation stay but the room had a kitchenette and washing machine so would be good for business traveler’s too.
